一个常被忽略的细节是：农场使用太阳能和风能供电，雨水被收集起来用于生态厕所冲洗。这些做法不只是环保标签，在远离电网的北岸，它们直接决定了农场能否持续运营。
水下浮潜：快速浮潜与圣母像
讲解结束后，游客登上快艇前往珍珠养殖区。这里的浮潜方式和常规浮潜不同——参与者抓住船尾的拖绳，由船只以缓慢速度拖行，被称为“快速浮潜”（speed snorkeling）。这种方式省力，初次浮潜的人也能轻松适应。水下能看到悬挂在绳索上的珍珠贝养殖笼，以及一座真人大小的瓜达卢佩圣母像（Virgen de Guadalupe），雕像在2005年飓风威尔玛之后被放置于此。浮潜时长约30分钟，提供面镜、呼吸管和脚蹼。

如何从科苏梅尔邮轮码头前往
农场本身没有公路入口，所有游客必须在科苏梅尔市区的集合点登船。从 Punta Langosta 邮轮码头打车到集合点（Puerto de Abrigo 码头附近）约10分钟，车费大约8美元。如果从 Playa del Carmen 乘渡轮过来，下船后步行约5分钟即可到达集合区域。邮轮乘客需要预留足够的返程时间——整个行程约6小时，加上往返码头的交通，建议岸上停留时间不少于7小时。
票价与预约方式

最佳游览季节与天气
科苏梅尔全年适合游览，但12月到4月是旱季，降雨少、湿度相对低，海面也更平静。3月到5月海水能见度最好，浮潜体验更稳定。6月到10月是雨季，午后阵雨常见，9月降雨最多。雨季出海受风浪影响，浮潜环节可能取消或调整——农场会根据当天海况决定行程顺序，出发前确认天气状况很有必要。
不适合哪些人
登船需要在码头从船尾跨入小船，下船时在沙滩附近涉水登岸，膝盖或髋关节有问题的人可能会感到吃力。沙滩上没有铺设步道，在沙地上行走对行动不便者不太友好。5岁以下儿童可以参加，但浮潜要求至少5岁且能安全使用装备，11岁以下儿童全程需要成人陪同。农场提供生态厕所，但没有淋浴设施和储物柜，建议提前在酒店换好泳衣。

农场可以现场买票吗？
不建议。农场每天接待人数有限，旺季时常常提前几天满员。官网和授权平台提供预约，部分平台要求支付定金（成人25美元），余款在行程当天结清。出发前48小时以上取消通常可获全额退款，48小时内取消可能收取费用，天气原因导致港口关闭则免费改期或退款。
浮潜需要会游泳吗？
不需要。快速浮潜是抓住船尾拖绳由船只缓慢牵引，参与者穿着救生衣，不需要独立游泳能力。但5岁以下儿童不能参加浮潜，5到11岁儿童必须由成人全程陪同，且只有能安全使用浮潜装备的孩子才能下水。

We had a great time at Cozumel Pearl Farm! It's such a unique experience, and their facility is so beautiful. We learned a lot about pearl farming, enjoyed swimming at their private beach and the speed snorkeling, and had some very delicious pineapple burgers. I would absolutely recommend going to check it out! Be warned if you have younger kids it is a lot of talking, but it's so interesting and they clearly are very passionate about what they're doing.
The Cozumel Pearl Farm was 5 star+++++! Isabel and her brother, Pancho and their boat captain, offer an amazing tour out to their private white sand beach where they shared their experience and knowledge about their pearl farm! Her background as a Marine Biologist and his as an Engineer made for quite and experience. After learning the history of pearls (quite interesting), we snorkeled the farm site and surrounding reefs. We then came back to beach where we enjoyed a delicious lunch. We have done many tours and excursions on Cozumel over the last 25 years but the Pearl Farm was, by far, one of our favorites!!
Book now. Isabel and her team are so friendly and sweet. She’s very knowledgeable about pearls and studied marine biology in Germany. It’s a family run business with her brother who studied civil engineering. You’ll obviously learn about the making of pearls and how their team is focused on the pearls native to the region. It’s a beautiful private vibe on the farm where the research is done. The boat ride to there is also very relaxing. Snorkeling is also a part of the tour pending mother nature’s wind conditions. Everything is very organized, great communication. When you take the taxi to the meeting point just double confirm once you get to the location because the driver might not be too certain.
My family and I had the most magical day at Cozumel Pearl Farm. Isabel and Pancho were a wealth of information and were kind and attentive the entire time (the skipper was great as well, but I cannot remember his name). The boat ride to the gorgeous private beach was beautiful. We enjoyed the snacks and lunch, loved the snorkeling, and learned so much about pearls. We tried to book a few years ago and it was full. This time we didn’t book our flights until we knew we could get the tour, and it was 100% worth the wait. Thank you for an amazing day, Cozumel Pearl Farm! We LOVED our experience.
A great experience, very remote from San Miguel! The owners are super enthusiastic about their project, and visitors are a central part of the experience! We were very lucky to see a pod of dolphins and an emerald hummingbird, a rarity!!! A must-go for people who want to get off of Cozumel’s main tourist attractions!
