穆尚迪克保护区位于津巴布韦马斯温戈市（Masvingo）沿布拉瓦约公路（Bulawayo Road）约25公里处，占地约13,360公顷，以417公顷的穆尚迪克湖为核心，覆盖了米奥博林地、开阔草原和岩石丘陵地貌。保护区内生活着多种非洲平原野生动物，如捻角羚、貂羚、水羚、岩羚、角马、黑斑羚和疣猪，同时栖息着丰富的鸟类种群，为观察南部非洲生态提供了真实而生动的样本。保护区内可开展游船、垂钓、徒步观兽、野餐、露营及房车旅行等活动，配套设施包括野火炉和淋浴卫生间，并由保护区内设立的穆尚迪克野生动物管理学院（Mushandike College of Wildlife Management）统筹管理。该学院与保护区实践紧密结合，为学生提供实地学习机会。此前，津巴布韦国家公园管理局（ZimParks）曾将包括长颈鹿、斑马、疣猪、貂羚和角马在内的百余头动物从凯尔休闲公园（Kyle Recreational Park）迁移至此处，这一举措进一步丰富了本地物种多样性，提升了保护区的游览体验与教学价值。

Very bureaucratic. Entrance Protocol took a looong time. I had to prove my Zimbabwean residence with id etc. there was no senior citizen's discount. Pretty lake and clean ablutions .

Mushandike Recreational Park is a good place where people enjoy game viewing and fishing.

The bathrooms need a revamp, most of them were dirty and the water supply was erratic.

This is where nature is explained understandable. Face to face interactions with theorically explained. Being a guide need motivation. These lecturers are great on it . Thank you guys and keep up the great job.

There are recreational facilities, accommodation services & there is a college of wildlife in the sanctuary. There is also Mushandike Dam in the sanctuary where you can have fun through fishing, boating etc
