Bab Mahrouk建于1204年，由阿尔摩哈德王朝的穆罕默德·阿尔-纳西尔统治者所建，是摩洛哥非斯市重要的历史门户，标志着通往非斯古城（Fes el Bali）的西入口。最初被称为Bab ash-Shari'a（法门），因一名叛乱者的尸体在此被焚烧以示权威，后来改名为Bab Mahrouk（焚烧之门）。该门的设计独特，入口处有一个90度转弯，并采用马蹄形拱门，既体现了防御功能，也展现了艺术美感。附近的Bab Mahrouk墓地埋葬着诸如伊斯兰学者阿布·巴克尔·伊本·阿拉比和安达卢西亚诗人伊本·哈提卜等重要人物，进一步增加了这一历史遗址的文化和历史价值。

The burned gate Bab Mahrouk or with his other name Bab Chorfa The gate is very close to the blue gate. Most of the locals there hardly ever saw tourists here. The whole area is full of stalls selling their wares. Kids playing around, you can go upstairs to see everything better
