Best of all in Sierra Gorda. Went with a tour package with Java tours. Traveling thorough the desert then to the forest. Different landscapes. It was amazing. Definitely try if you can. These waterfall is magical.

Beautiful place, it’s a long ride down but don’t miss this spot. The easy hike to the waterfall, is short and doesn’t take long to reach (10 minutes). Plenty of places to get food outside. Also enjoy the little yellow frogs on your way inn.

I was paranoid about the parking situation too and also about the trash in the park. The parking ladies yes, you should avoid, just park as close to the entrance as you can. It'll cost you $40 pesos to park there, not $60 as with the other ladies. The trash in the park was practically non-existent. Sure, it's not as clean as it could be but still it's reasonably clean. Dogs are not allowed. Don't bring your dogs. The park is wonderful and it's a very nice and short walk that can be accomplished by most adults and children unless folks are in a wheelchair. Once you get to the falls if you're adventurous you can walk all over but you can't swim there. You can swim in some of the other pools but not in the waterfall. The pools are reasonably clean but mucky in the bottom so water shoes are recommended. Bring a change of clothes. It's highly recommended you visit!!

Amazingly beautiful.. 1.2 km of hike to the waterfall from the entrance.. hike is not very challenging. Kids were able to complete without any issues. Waterfall itself was very serene, and the water was crystal clear, although very cold. Finding the waterfall through the main road was a little bit difficult since there was not a proper board or sign, so we missed it for the first time. As expected, there isnno cell signal in the area, but in the entrance of the waterfall, they sell wifi codes for an hourly basis. Overall, it was a nice experience.

This was a lovely stop along the Sierra Gorda. You pay for up close parking although it doesn’t seem to be an official thing. You also pay to enter but it does not include the use of restrooms and changing rooms. There are vendors selling delicious food inside the grounds. The downside: Guests are not very mindful of the grounds and do not pick up after themselves nor respect the rules about not entering the water near the waterfalls. This area is meant to preserve the ecosystem but there is very little done for this other than a sign that is dirty and hard to read. I hope more is done in the future to take better care of this beautiful spot.
