如何抵达与选择码头
霍奇米尔科远离市中心，但公共交通其实不算复杂。最稳妥的路线是先坐地铁2号线（蓝线）到终点站塔斯克尼亚（Tasqueña），出站后右转找到轻轨（Tren Ligero）车站，再坐大约45到60分钟到霍奇米尔科站。轻轨不认地铁票，需要单独买票。下车后跟着“embarcadero”的指示牌走，或者花几十比索打个本地出租车，几分钟就能到主要码头。
三大码头各有性格

时间安排与路线

船顶棚遮不了太多太阳，墨西哥城海拔2240米，紫外线很强，帽子和防晒霜是必需品。水上比岸上凉，傍晚降温快，带一件薄外套。船上没有厕所，上船前先在码头解决。现金要带够，水上交易不刷卡，小面额纸币最实用。
什么时候去最合适
运河全年开放，特拉希内拉通常工作日从上午9点运营到晚上7点，周末从10点到下午6点。想安静拍照、听船夫讲浮田历史的话，周二到周五上午是最好的时段，水面有薄雾，苍鹭站在浅水里，跟下午的喧闹完全是两个世界。周末下午运河会变成移动的派对现场，三条玛丽亚奇乐队在四十米内各唱各的，喜欢热闹就周末来，想清静就工作日来。
旱季从11月到次年4月，天空晴朗、水温清一些、藻类少，是坐船最舒服的季节。5月到10月是雨季，下午常有雷阵雨，出发前看一眼天气预报。12月底市场里会摆满一品红，那是墨西哥原产的圣诞花，码头附近的花市值得逛一逛。

What a rip-off! 15 minutes there, 15 minutes back, 10 of which are spent docking and undocking. Just looking at it once is enough. It's a tourist trap; they try to dock at one spot to extend the time.

During a standard 2-hour trip, the main sensation is that of floating amidst a colorful and vibrant flow of trajineras 🌈. The atmosphere is one of constant celebration on board, where it's common to see groups partying with music as the canal transforms into a floating market offering a variety of drinks and typical dishes 🌮. It's not a quiet, contemplative stroll, but a total immersion in the festive noise and Mexican folk tradition 🎶. The logistics allow you to witness firsthand the ingenuity of the vendors who approach in their own canoes, creating a unique social dynamic on the water ✨. It's an authentic experience where the slow movement of the boat takes a back seat to the shared joy of the surroundings 🍺.
The trip to the Canales de Xochimilco was an optional part of the sightseeing tour. We were put on boats and sailed along the canal, which was an interesting experience. Additionally, the program included a mariachi performance – the orchestras range from three to 12 members, and their repertoire includes both contemporary compositions and Mexican folk music. Google doesn't allow videos longer than 30 seconds, and even that presents a problem. And there are souvenir shops at the entrance to the marina.
