索马亚博物馆：墨西哥城免费入场的银色地标
墨西哥城的索马亚博物馆（Museo Soumaya）每天上午10:30开门，全年无休，入场完全免费。这座位于新波兰科（Nuevo Polanco）卡尔索广场（Plaza Carso）的私人博物馆，用超过16000片六边形铝板包裹出一个会随光线变色的巨型雕塑，馆内则藏着约66000件艺术品，其中包括法国之外规模最大的罗丹雕塑收藏。

先弄懂索马亚的三处馆址，别跑错门
索马亚不是一栋楼，而是三个地址。绝大多数旅行者嘴里说的“索马亚博物馆”，指的是2011年启用的卡尔索广场新馆（Plaza Carso），地址是米格尔·德·塞万提斯·萨维德拉大道303号（Blvd. Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra 303），属于米格尔·伊达尔戈区（Miguel Hidalgo）。老馆在城南圣天使（San Ángel）的洛雷托广场（Plaza Loreto），1994年就开了，藏在由19世纪造纸厂改造的商业中心里。第三处是罗马区（Roma）的吉列尔莫·托瓦尔·德·特雷莎故居博物馆（Casa Museo Guillermo Tovar de Teresa）。
时间有限的话，直接去卡尔索广场新馆。建筑本身、罗丹厅和欧洲古典绘画都集中在这里。洛雷托广场人更少，外围的工业建筑保留得不错，展厅以临时展览为主，顺路逛圣天使时值得拐进去。
新馆地址与到达方式
打车或网约车最省事，从波兰科（Polanco）核心区过去不到10分钟。公共交通有两条常被推荐的路线：地铁7号线到圣华金站，步行约15分钟穿一片安静的居民区；或者搭快速公交7号线到里奥圣华金站，下车后步行距离更短。周日部分路段车流少，步行体感反而好。
开放时间的一条重要提醒
搜索索马亚营业时间，会跳出来两种说法：一种说天天开门，一种说周二闭馆。官方渠道最新的信息是每天10:30至18:30开放，全年无休，免费入场且个人参观无需预约。部分旅行平台的信息没有及时更新，把周二当成了闭馆日。出发前扫一眼官网（museosoumaya.org）最稳妥。周一开门这一点对行程安排很实用——墨西哥城很多国立博物馆周一闭馆，索马亚正好补上空档。
建筑、收藏与参观节奏
外壳：16000片铝板的视觉游戏
设计师费尔南多·罗梅罗（Fernando Romero）是卡洛斯·斯利姆（Carlos Slim）的女婿，他把博物馆做成了一个不对称的旋转菱形体，内部用28根直径各异的弯曲钢柱撑起。外立面没有一扇可见的窗，参观者在楼里却能通过顶部半透明的天棚获得自然光。正面入口处立着一尊罗丹《思想者》的青铜铸件，几乎所有人在进门前都会先拍一张。
楼层分布：从金币到罗丹
六个展厅楼层各有主题，一楼大厅摆着大型作品，包括罗丹的《地狱之门》、米开朗基罗《圣母怜子》的青铜翻铸模型，以及迭戈·里维拉和鲁菲诺·塔马约的壁画。往上依次是殖民时期钱币、墨西哥19世纪肖像与装饰艺术、欧洲及新西班牙古典大师、19世纪风景画与印象派、20世纪墨西哥艺术。顶层几乎整层留给罗丹和他的学生卡米耶·克洛岱尔（Camille Claudel）、埃米尔-安托万·布德尔（Émile-Antoine Bourdelle），约380件作品摆在白色基座上，头顶是钢与玻璃的格栅天窗，漫射光一整天都很均匀。
馆内动线靠一条连续螺旋坡道串起六层，基本不走回头路。坡道坡度平缓，全程走完相当于爬六层楼，穿舒服的鞋。
什么时候去最安静
工作日上午10:30刚开门的那一小时最清净，罗丹厅常常没人。周六下午两点到六点是人流高峰，学校团体和家庭观众集中出现，入口偶尔排队。免费入场意味着没有票务分流，周末的走廊密度明显高于平日。想拍建筑外壳，黄昏前一小时的光线最好；想拍展厅，上午的自然光更干净。
实用细节：安检、拍照与馆内设施
入口有包袋检查，大背包、行李箱、雨伞、自拍杆和液体都不能带进去，只允许手提包或薄款小背包通过。带了拉杆箱的话，馆内有寄存处，但别指望能拖进展厅。三脚架和闪光灯在馆内禁止使用，普通手持拍摄没问题，罗丹厅的自然光足够。轮椅可以通行，馆里有电梯和连续坡道，并免费提供轮椅借用，行动不便的话建议只挑两三层重点看，不必勉强走完整个螺旋。
礼品店在一楼，卖的是博物馆主题纪念品和墨西哥手工艺品。餐饮方面要提前有心理准备：馆内餐厅主要服务员工，不对外开放，最近的咖啡和简餐要去卡尔索广场的商业区解决。参观前先吃点东西，或者在广场里吃完饭再进馆。

是的，所有馆址都免费入场，由卡洛斯·斯利姆基金会承担运营成本，个人参观不需要预约、不需要换票。只有团队导览和特殊活动需要提前联系。免费政策意味着周末人流大，工作日上午10:30开门时最省排队时间。
从墨西哥城历史中心怎么去索马亚最方便？
最省心的是网约车，从历史中心过去大约20到30分钟，视路况而定。公共交通可以搭地铁2号线到贝利萨尔·多明格斯（Bellas Artes）换7号线到圣华金站，再步行约15分钟；或者坐快速公交7号线到里奥圣胡安站。两条路线单程票价都在10比索以内，比打车便宜得多，但高峰时段车厢很挤。
馆内可以拍照吗？能带三脚架吗？
可以拍，普通手持相机和手机都没问题，但禁止闪光灯和三脚架。罗丹厅靠天窗采光，不用闪光也够亮。自拍杆属于安检禁止物品，会被拦下。

The architectural design of this museum is just so cool. Obviously when you first see it you are awestruck by its size and structure. When you get inside you see how effectively the space is actually used. It feels spacious but also small because there is so much art packed in there. I don't think it's possible to absorb that place in one day. Magnificent art on every floor, not a lot of sitting spaces I would say. Amazing museum and it's free!
Museo Soumaya is easily one of the most stunning architectural and cultural landmarks in Mexico City. The building itself is an incredible work of art—the curved, metallic façade made of thousands of aluminum hexagons catches the light beautifully and makes for an iconic sight in the heart of Plaza Carso. Inside, the experience is just as impressive. The interior design features a seamless continuous ramp that gracefully spirals upward through six floor levels, leading you naturally through centuries of history and artistic mastery. The collection is breathtakingly expansive, boasting remarkable pieces ranging from European Old Masters and Impressionist works to Mesoamerican artifacts and Mexican modernism. The top floor gallery housing the extensive collection of Auguste Rodin sculptures is a absolute highlight and truly unforgettable. The fact that this world-class venue offers free admission to the public makes it an unbelievable cultural gift to both locals and travelers. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the city, give yourself plenty of time to explore!

The shimmering exterior of Museo Soumaya is a masterpiece in itself, and the inside is just as impressive. • Top Highlights: The top floor is filled with a massive collection of Rodin sculptures bathed in natural light. • Smart Route: Take the elevator straight to the top floor and walk down the beautiful spiral ramp to explore the other galleries. • Best Part: It is completely free to enter, making it an absolute must-visit cultural stop in Mexico City.
Amazing museum and absolutely worth visiting. The collection inside is incredible, with such a wide variety of art from different periods and artists. I was genuinely impressed by both the quality and the amount of artwork on display. It honestly feels comparable to visiting a major European museum, not only because of the collection itself but also because of the way the experience is presented. The building is beautiful, the galleries are impressive, and there is so much to see that you can easily spend several hours there. And on top of all that beauty and such an incredible collection, the museum is completely free, which makes the experience even more special and accessible. One of the highlights of my visit to Mexico City. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys art, history, or museums.
Amazing place with stunning outside of the building. We didn’t do it justice as we planned to go Costco cross the street and just stumbled on this. We walked around to see the exhibits for one hour before the closing hour. Hope to comeback and visit again soon. The Dali pieces are very nice. They definitely have plenty Rodin statues but mostly small sizes Best of all it is free admission.
