莫斯基托角：藏在霍尔博克斯东端的白沙沙洲
莫斯基托角（Punta Mosquito）是霍尔博克斯岛（Holbox）东端的一片白沙沙洲，免费开放，没有门票。它最特别的体验出现在退潮前后：一条齐踝深的浅水沙脊向海里延伸将近一公里，人可以踩着白得发亮的沙底一路走进加勒比海。
从霍尔博克斯镇中心出发，沿沙滩往东走大约 2.5 到 4 公里，耗时 45 到 60 分钟。一路没有遮阴、没有商店，最好在出发前就把水和防晒备齐。
地理位置与环境
沙洲的样子
莫斯基托角位于霍尔博克斯岛北岸最东端，紧邻尤姆巴拉姆（Yum Balam）保护区的边界。这里的海底是细软的白色沙底，水深大多只到脚踝或膝盖，颜色透亮。沙洲本身大致呈一条长长的沙舌，长约 350 米，宽 45 米左右。涨潮时它被水淹没大半，退潮后才会完整露出。
为什么值得走一趟
岛上大多数海滩都有沙滩椅、音乐和餐饮，莫斯基托角相反：没有服务设施，没有躺椅，也没有音乐。换来的是鸟群、浅滩和安静。火烈鸟季来的时候，常能看到它们站在浅水里低头滤食，距离远到谈不上打扰。
怎么去
从镇中心步行
最省钱的办法就是走路。沿沙滩一直往东，穿过最后几家海滩俱乐部，再走 20 到 30 分钟就到沙洲入口。想省脚力可以租自行车，日租大约 150 到 250 墨西哥比索，骑过去差不多 20 分钟。
高尔夫球车与游船
岛上没有私家车，最常见的代步工具是高尔夫球车，租一天大约 800 到 1200 比索，适合两三个人分摊。别忘了把车停在沙洲外侧的沙路上，别硬开进浅水。另一种方式是坐船：从镇上的码头出发，十来分钟就能到，参加包含莫斯基托角的三岛游船，价格通常在 400 到 550 比索一人，另加保护区手环费用。
从坎昆或普拉亚德尔卡曼怎么接驳
先坐大巴或包车到奇基拉港（Chiquilá），从坎昆出发约 2 小时车程。再换乘渡轮，20 到 30 分钟上岛，往返票价大约 150 到 180 比索。把海水、沙洲、鸟看个够，最好在岛上住一晚，这样能自己挑退潮的时段，而不是被一日游的时间表牵着走。
什么时候去最好
退潮窗口是关键
想在沙洲上走得远，就盯着潮汐表。退潮前后各两小时是最佳窗口，此时沙脊露出最多，水也更清。干季（11 月到次年 4 月）降雨少、海况稳，适合徒步。5 月到 10 月湿热多雨，但正好是火烈鸟季，浅滩上的火烈鸟更容易看到。
一天里的时间段
清晨是最舒服的时段：凉快、人少，鸟也活跃。冬天早上 7 点半前离开镇子，往往能赶上日出和第一拨觅食的火烈鸟。中午到下午阳光直射，沙洲上没有一处遮蔽，很容易晒到发晕。
游览规则与注意事项
保护区边界
沙洲一部分属于鸟类保护区，会立着禁止通行的标示。看到绳子或木牌就别再往前，护林员会巡查。有些时候整片鸟区会因繁殖季临时关闭。
要带什么
水鞋很有必要，沙底有零星贝壳和碎珊瑚。防晒霜选对珊瑚友好的配方，帽子、墨镜、一瓶备用饮水都别省。驱蚊液也带上，名字虽然叫“蚊子角”，蚊子还真不少，日落前后尤其活跃。
时间预算
步行往返加停留，留 2 到 3 小时比较从容。跟游船的话，在沙洲上的停留通常是 35 到 60 分钟。
常见问题
莫斯基托角需要买门票吗？
不需要。进入沙洲本身免费，如果参加游船，通常需要另付尤姆巴拉姆保护区手环费用，约 110 墨西哥比索一人。
火烈鸟一定能看到吗？
不一定。野生火烈鸟属于季节性访客，4 月到 10 月相对容易看到，运气好的清晨在浅滩上能遇见几十只。其他月份也可能有零星个体，但不保证。
行动不便的人适合去吗？
不太合适。走到沙洲要经过一段湿沙和浅水，没有无障碍通道，也没有遮阴和洗手间。带小孩的话，最好选退潮时段，并接受孩子可能要在膝盖深的水里走。
可以下水游泳吗？
可以，但水非常浅，更像涉水散步而不是游泳。注意不要越过保护区标示。
晚上能看到生物荧光吗？
可以。夏季的暗夜，部分皮划艇团会带游客到这一侧的浅水看发光的浮游生物，属于有向导的活动，不建议自己摸黑前往。

Beautiful sand bar! Biked to the end of the road, walked out to the sandbar and relaxed in paradise. It was very quiet, few boat tours would come and go. Recommend going during low tide so walking through the water is easier
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Punta Mosquito is an absolute must-stop when you’re in Isla Holbox. The views are breathtaking, with crystal-clear blue water that looks straight out of a postcard. The shallow sandbars stretch out for what feels like miles, creating a peaceful, almost surreal experience as you walk through the water. It’s quiet, untouched, and one of the most beautiful natural spots on the island. Perfect for relaxing, taking photos, or just soaking in the scenery. The heaven on earth. Beautiful, amazing beach with Carribbean vibes. Love everything about this place. Not too much for swimming, but it's incredible for a walk, relax and the water is extra clean. God is good.
The beach was really beautiful, although at the end of October there was some seaweed in several areas. To reach the first sandbank, you have to walk through water that comes up to about mid-thigh. We saw lots of seagulls and other birds..and even a few wild flamingos! A really nice experience overall!
I've heard it's beautiful when there's low tide and its sunny. We went during a tropical storm, it was raining a little at first but then the rain stopped. The tide was a bit high. Still amazingly beautiful. We walked along the beach cause most of the sand bank that starts towards the end of the hotels was covered in water. We walked along the mangrove and saw a bunch of iguanas and some flamingos. We trekked from the beach to the main sand bank before one of the main mangrove channels - avoiding a potential encounter with alligators and snakes🤦🏽♂️ We arrived at a pointy section of the main sand bank walked a bit further and stopped where the main fence prohibits entrance to the natural reserve - please respect that. This is only and certainly just for nature lovers. It was an idyllic experience. Away from everything and everyone. It's not easy to get there and not for everyone. We saw a few flamingos fly above us and some other birds. Once in a lifetime experience. I would only recommend the full hike with low tide and good watershoes. Please RESPECT and PROTECT nature. Take your trash back with you. It took us 45 minutes to walk from the reserve entrance to the fence on the other side seen in some of the photos.
