米丘鲁山位于马拉维布兰太尔北部约8公里处，属于大裂谷的一部分。山顶海拔1,473米，因其位于高原上，显著高度较小。这里拥有丰富的鸟类物种，是米丘鲁山森林保护区的所在地，保护区成立于1970年，面积为3,004公顷。前往山顶的道路较为原始，需要越野车才能通行。

Best place for hiking in Blantyre. Has mini waterfalls and beautiful trails. It's always fun hiking here. The staff is helpful, if you need a guide just ask the staff. The trees are just beautiful..

It is a beautiful mountain with thick forest and clear trails all the way to the top. The view of Blantyre from the summit is even more beautiful.

People drive up the mountain for braais on in the braai areas. I'm not sure if it's safe for hiking.
