A tough hike in +32°C, but the views at the top were amazing. It took us 2 hours to get there.

It’s a very nice yet steep trail. It’s heavily deforestated which means there’s barely any shade on the way. The views are very rewarding, however it’s a steep climb, slightly technical. There is a small car park in the village that can be used, however the road there is not easy to pass. Alternatively you can park the car along the tarred road and walk into the village at the foot of the mountain. Given it’s proximity to Lilongwe it’s a great day trip. The hike up takes about 1h20 up and 50min down.
