卡特贝堡垒位于埃及亚历山大市的地中海沿岸，由马穆鲁克苏丹阿什拉夫·阿布·纳斯尔·凯特贝于1477至1479年间建造，位于古代亚历山大灯塔遗址上。堡垒主要用于防御海上威胁，建筑采用石灰石建造，占地约17,550平方米。外围墙壁设有防御塔，内部院落内包含兵营和储藏室。主塔位于西北角，为一座三层方形堡垒，四个角落设有半圆形塔楼，并配有防御性阳台。该堡垒于2003年进行过大规模修复和扩建。
