At 4222 feet above sea level, I can only advise intending hikers to ensure to have first aid tools and be sure they are medically fit before embarking on this steep hike. I speak from experience

Always a great hike up Kgale Hill. Easy enough and a great workout. Hike with friends as its safer than hiking it alone. Always make way for the baboons if they are also on the same trail as you. Be cautious of your surroundings for snakes and scorpions. Enjoy the view when you reach the summit!

Nice and easy hike - beginner level, kid friendly. Beautiful views from city, dam and landscape with South Africa on the horizon. Careful with baboons near parking lot. Bring water, stay hydrated. Please don't litter, so sad to see trash everywhere. On the way down from the hill pay attention when to leave paved path otherwise you will end up at the quarry.

Highest peak of the Gaborone City. A view of the Country's 1st Biggest Dam is Clearer with all its angles visible. The City's view is also much amazing from this side which of course gives angles to the South & South western part of the City which entailes the Urban & industrial places. It's also amazing to be there on a drizzling/ rain or cloudy day... It can remind you of Cape Town's Table mountain

The hiking is beautiful and other hikers very friendly! The view of the city and reservoir are very pretty. The paragliding was amazing with great thermals and perfect terrain for take off and landing!
