巴扎鲁托国家公园（Bazaruto Archipelago National Park），这片面积达1400平方公里的海洋保护区，守护着多座迷人的岛屿及其周围水域。这个生物多样性的绿洲因远离大陆的历史冲突而保留了其原始的自然美景。天空中飞翔着多种鸟类，如鱼鹰和粉红色的火烈鸟；陆地上栖息着红麂羚、丛林羚和尼罗鳄。水域则充满生机，吸引了海豚、超过2000种鱼类，以及赤蠵龟、棱皮龟和绿海龟等三种海龟。此外，岛屿周围的海草草甸是难得一见的儒艮的觅食地。
巴扎鲁托群岛上居住着约3500人，他们的存在为这片“人间天堂”增添了几分生活气息。作为群岛中最大的岛屿，巴扎鲁托岛拥有一条长达30公里的沙丘脊，俯瞰着碧绿的海洋。南边是较小的本格拉岛，再往南是更小的马加鲁克岛和圣卡罗琳娜岛。在群岛的最南端，班古岛基本上是一片沙洲，而微小的潘西岛在涨潮时会完全消失。
公园的总部位于巴扎鲁托岛西侧的西托内，这里提供了无与伦比的潜水、浮潜和休闲垂钓机会。尽管各种活动的费用已经获得批准，但目前尚未强制执行。游客在潘西沙洲的一日游中不仅能欣赏到海胆壳的美景，还有机会见到鲸鱼、鲨鱼、海龟和鳐鱼。儒艮虽然难以遇见，但每次相遇都是难忘的体验。
