马萨特兰鹿岛 Isla de Venados 游玩全指南
鹿岛（Isla de Venados）是马萨特兰湾三座岛屿中最大的一座，面积约54公顷，长1.8公里，最宽处近700米，距离黄金区海滩仅约600米，坐船10到20分钟就能上岛。它是三岛中唯一对游客开放的一座，每天9:00至17:00开放，登岛停留时间限定在2至4小时。
说它是“岛”，其实更像一块被太平洋托起来的岩石山丘：平均海拔150米，东北角有个178米的尖顶，山坡上覆盖着低矮灌木和仙人掌类植物。名字来自早年栖居于此的鹿群，如今鹿早已不见，倒是鸟类的数量惊人——这片海域被划为候鸟保护区，岛上记录到的鸟类接近90种。
怎么去鹿岛：船票、出发点和时间安排
从普拉亚加维奥塔斯出发最方便
登岛只有水路一条。最常用的出发点是黄金区的普拉亚加维奥塔斯（Playa Gaviotas），海滩上停着一排小艇（lancha），凑够6到8人就走。往返价格大致在200到350比索之间，也有船家报150比索单程。上船前问清楚是不是往返、回程几点来接，这点很多人吃过亏——回程船不等人的情况确实存在。
另一个选择是Holiday Inn Express酒店门前的海滩，那里也有船家揽客。想省事就走旅行社的全包团，通常包含酒店接送、浮潜装备和简单午餐，成人价格在600到900比索区间。
只认有CONANP许可的船
鹿岛属于加利福尼亚湾岛屿动植物保护区的一部分，由墨西哥国家自然保护区委员会（CONANP）管理。不是所有海滩上的小艇都有载客许可，正规运营者的船身或招牌上会标明许可编号。跟着无证船家走，安全没保障，也可能被拦在岛外。
划船过去也是个选项
从Holiday Inn门前的海岸划皮划艇到岛上大约20分钟，单程约500米。有游客评价说这是全程最有趣的部分，划到岛边再下水浮潜，节奏完全自己掌握。当然，前提是你有基本的划船经验，且当天海况平稳。

浮潜是这里的招牌
鹿岛海滩的浪小、水清，是马萨特兰公认最适合浮潜的地方。下水游出去不远就能看到热带鱼群，运气好还能碰到海龟。多数半日团会提供面镜和呼吸管，自己带装备更卫生。早上出发的水最平静，水下能见度也最好——下午起风之后海面会变浑。
上山走一圈，视野完全不一样
岛的步道单程约1.9公里，爬升100米出头，中等难度，走上去大概30分钟到1小时。路不算难找，但有几步需要手脚并用。山顶能俯瞰整个马萨特兰海岸线，黄金区的高楼、灯塔、远处的海湾一次收进眼底。穿运动鞋上去，凉鞋走碎石路会很难受。
长鼻浣熊会来翻你的包
岛上的长鼻浣熊（coatí）已经习惯了人类，会大摇大摆走到沙滩上翻食物。别喂它们，也别把零食放在垫子上不管——被抢走是常事。这不是可爱的偶遇，而是保护区正在处理的管理问题：浣熊属于外来引入物种，对岛上筑巢鸟类的幼鸟有捕食行为。食物放回背包拉好拉链，是最实际的办法。
出发前必须知道的事：岛上没有厕所，也没有餐厅
服务设施几乎为零
岛上没有厕所、没有餐厅、没有小卖部。出发前在海滩那边解决好个人问题，带足饮用水和食物。有船家会在岛上出租遮阳伞、桌椅，但不是固定服务，别指望到了就有。垃圾必须自己装袋带回，岛上没有垃圾桶。
不少游客提到，参加含餐团时所谓的“岛上餐厅”其实是临时搭的棚子，卫生条件一般。想吃得舒服，自带三明治和水果更靠谱。
规则比想象中严格
岛上禁止携带宠物，禁止使用扩音器和音响，乐队表演不被允许，明火和烹饪同样禁止。这些规定不是摆设，保护区有容量上限——鹿岛的生态承载量核定为222人，旺季时会接近这个数字。
游泳区已经用浮标划出来了，距离岸边约15米，专门把游泳者和水上摩托隔开。浮标外的区域水上摩托速度快，别游出去。参加浮潜或游泳项目时穿好救生衣，尤其带孩子的话。
什么季节去最舒服
11月到次年5月是旱季，降雨少、气温在26到30摄氏度之间，海况也最稳。12月到4月是游客旺季，但鹿岛相比大陆海滩仍然清静得多。6月到11月是飓风季，出海项目可能临时取消——出发当天早上先确认船家是否正常运营。
想避开人群，赶早上9点半到10点之间上岛，那时候沙滩上人还不多。周末和墨西哥假期（尤其圣周和暑假）本地家庭大量涌来，岛上会比较热闹。
带什么
泳衣、速干衣物、防晒霜（建议用可降解配方）、帽子、太阳镜、防滑水鞋或运动鞋、足够的水、装垃圾的袋子、现金。岛上没有ATM，船费和遮阳伞租金都收现金。
常见问题
鹿岛需要提前预约吗？
直接在普拉亚加维奥塔斯海滩找船家即可，不需要提前订。若参加含浮潜、接送的全包团，通过旅行社或平台预订更省心，最晚可在出发前12小时下单，视余位而定。
登岛要另交门票吗？
保护区收取登岛费用，报道中提到的金额为225比索左右，通常已包含在船家或旅行团的报价里。上船前问清楚报价是否含保护区费用，避免到岛上再补钱。
岛上有厕所和餐饮吗？
没有。官方明确说明岛上无厕所、无餐饮设施，游客需在出发前解决，并自带食物和饮水。停留时间限定2至4小时，也是基于这个条件设定的。
带孩子或老人去合适吗？
海滩区域水浅浪小，适合带孩子玩水，但岛上没有遮阴设施和厕所，对老人不太友好。上山的步道有碎石和坡度，轮椅无法通行，行动不便者建议只在沙滩活动。

Great beach! You can get here by boat, which is located by buying a ticket from a guy named javier on gaviotas avenue.
We paid for a ride on a boat in front of the Holiday Inn, and they brought us to this island. They provided lifejackets and the boats felt secure. When we were finished on the island, we didn't need to pay again; it might have been a different crew, but they brought us back. Exploring this island was a highlight of our trip to Mazatlan. You get incredible views of the city of Mazatlan, and can see all around the island. The beach on the island is apparently one of the most popular beaches in Mazatlan. There were lots of people there playing on the beach and in the water. More than any of the beaches on the Mazatlan side! Hiking to the top of the island was a bit difficult, as it was a little hard to find the right trail. But we were persistent and found it. It was a well-maintained trail. Takes about 30 minutes to an hour to get to one of the highest points, and the views are absolutely stunning. If you're going on a trip to Mazatlan, a trip to this island has to be on your bucket list!
If you are in Mazatlan, take the time to cross to the Island Los Venados. The water is calm and clear. You can get in contact with nature without the annoying bandas around. (I love Mazatlan, but this time, I couldn't find a peaceful place to just listen to the ocean) It is not expensive. You pay $150 pesos for round trips or $300 pesos if you rent a beach umbrella and chairs, which you really need them. There are not restaurants, you have to take your food, drinks and very important, TRASH PLASTIC BAGS, to pick up your own trash, that you will take back and deposit in a trash can. Please help this island to keep it as clean as possible. Overall, I highly recommend it to go and spend a couple of hours there. * Another way to cross is kayaking, a very nice adventure that will take you around 20 min if you have a good partner that will help you to do paddling 🙂.
Wonderful little Island to visit for $150MX per person, about $9-$10US, as of 08/2023. It's a 3-4min boat ride from the beach. Once there the rental of a few chairs and umbrella is $300MX. The water is much cleaner to swim in. Jet Ski and canoe rentals are available. Can stay there until 5pm when they start clearing out everyone. Only draw back is that you have to bring your own food and drinks. Also, no public bathrooms so you must do your needs before coming over.
This was beautiful escape from the big city beaches of Mazatlán. The private ride that u may be able to access from the beach will cost u about 250pesos with the return. There are tours for it, if u want to spend most of your day out there, I would take the private ride there and back.
