比绍的圣若泽·达阿穆拉堡是一座保存较好的18世纪葡萄牙军用建筑，始建于1753年，用于巩固葡萄牙在西非沿岸的殖民势力。堡垒采用法国沃邦式设计，呈四边形布局，四角设有棱堡，墙体上曾设有38门火炮。早期的防御工事可追溯至17世纪90年代，是葡萄牙应对法国势力扩张的战略部署之一。如今的堡垒内设有几内亚比绍独立运动领袖阿米尔卡·卡布拉尔的陵墓，兼具殖民时期遗迹与国家历史纪念地的双重意义。
