布鲁卢斯湖位于埃及尼罗河三角洲的卡夫尔谢赫省，湖水呈咸淡水性质，北临地中海，南界农田。历史上，湖泊曾通过布鲁卢斯镇附近的一个小开口与海洋相连，布鲁卢斯曾是一个重要的港口。湖中约有50个岛屿，北岸主要是盐沼和泥滩，而南岸则覆盖着芦苇丛。湖泊在当地生物多样性中发挥重要作用，栖息着多种鱼类、鸟类、爬行动物和哺乳动物。此外，布鲁卢斯湖还是《拉姆萨尔公约》下的国际重要湿地。

The biggest natural lake in Egypt, wonderful to sail around with all those tiny islands, you can have your lunch on boat watching fishermen and sunset

Good place to enjoy day out and blind with locals. But take care there are no touristic places, rests or restaurants as I know.
