《新自由》由约瑟夫·弗朗西斯·苏梅涅于1996年创作，是一座高12米、由废旧金属制成的雕塑，位于杜阿拉最繁忙的德伊多环岛（Rond Point Deido）。雕塑重8吨，翼展5米，象征着城市居民在资源回收和适应复杂环境中的韧性与创造力。尽管最初因外观设计及艺术家背景引发争议，这一作品已成为杜阿拉的象征，并在2007年城市艺术节（SUD）期间正式揭幕。
