德贾动物保护区位于喀麦隆东南部，占地5,260平方公里，自1987年被列为联合国教科文组织世界遗产。保护区几乎被德贾河环绕，是非洲最大且保存最完好的热带雨林之一，90%的区域保持原始状态。这里栖息着丰富的野生动植物，包括森林象、非洲森林水牛、西部低地大猩猩和黑猩猩，以及超过320种鸟类和1,500种植物。此外，生活在保护区内的巴卡族人以传统方式与自然共存，为这一重要的生态保护区增添了文化价值。

One of the most diverse environments in central Africa in terms of flora and fauna. Amazingly remote, and authentic experience with the Ba’Aka. The road to get here certainly requires a 4x4 or high clearance car, no matter which direction you come from.

Dja Faunal Reserve is one of the remaining untouched tropical rainforest we have. It's home to several species of animals like buffalo, gorilla, monkey, and birds. The Ba'Aka Pygmies have been living here since time immemorial. Humanity needs to jealously preserve this jewel of nature.
