  Interesting enough to walk through. You will see it as soon as you step off the ferry. Several original photos and exhibits inside tell the history of this hospital.

  We thought it was a museum, it used to be! But now it’s a real hospital. They were so nice with is they a loud us to take photos and explore the place. It was amazing to see the building, imagine that the only elevator 🛗 I saw in Zanzibar was in this hospital! Wow, it was a quite amazing experience to visit the place.

  Historic and picturesque, preserving the facade of the old building. Interesting history and you cannot miss it. Located directly opposite the Zanzibar Ports Authority. The building has been repurposed but the architecture still tells its own stories. Pop.inside for a few pictures if you can. Restored by the Aga Khan Trust for Culture
