Worth the visit. Noisy, all sorts of smells (including not so pleasent), hustle and bustle, all this adds to a pleasent adventure. Vegetables, fruits, spices, meat, fish, you can find everything there.

The local market is interesting, but there are strong smells in the meat and fish area.

One of the city green markets in Stone Town, Zanzibar. You can buy great fruits here, and other stuff you might or might not need. Like other places in Stone Town, you ought to be mindful of the prices, as bargaining is a way of life here. Itbis useful to learn a few Kuswahili words, you might save yourself a lot of Shilingi... Recommendation: red bananas!
