We stayed at the Lodge (the main house) for around 4 days this past Easter and can easily say we were blown away. The food concocted by the chef was absolutely fantastic The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating and Melissa who took us out on game drivers was just lovely. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a fabulous private game reserve to spend a relaxing time at.

Wow.. !!!! What a wonderful way to spend our 7th wedding anniversary! I’m still coming down from this experience 😍😍😍 EVERYTHING was perfect ! Melozhori is a sacred sanctuary where mother nature meets tailor-made tranquility customised to your stay, and done in absolute style. The hosts were so accommodating, friendly and definitely gave each corner of our pod a special touch. Done Melozhori style ! Let me just say, the most beautiful words will not do justice for the experience. You would have to embark this journey yourself 😊😊😊 Also, just a tip… make use of all the amenities offered, it makes the experience even more memorable and you won’t regret it!

Absolutely amazing, we were in the valley pod and from the moment we arrived it truly was a magical experience. The welcome from the team was first class and our game drive ranger was wonderful, very knowledgable and engaging. It’s just a shame we had to leave. Absolutely recommend this place. The staff was friendly and helpful. Melissa greeted us at the Waterfall pod. The venue is stunning and needs to be on your bucket list. We stayed 3 nights, a longer stay would have been even better. The venue was spotlessly clean. It is a great bonding activity for friends or couples. Highly recommended and will return but this time with our furry friend.

Oh my goodness… where to start?!!! One of thee most amazing places I’ve ever stayed. We arrived after spending 3 days celebrating a family wedding so the seclusion of the cottage was much needed. The cottage was gorgeous and the outdoor spaces were amazing. The hot tub was a big hit with us all! Melissa was really lovely checking us in and taking us on our game drive - this was so much fun and a very relaxed experience for taking our children on their first game drive. The highlight of our stay was when 3 horses stopped by for a feed and drink from the hot tub… a magical experience for our children. I will 100% be back and will recommend it to anyone I know going to South Africa! The small touches were brilliant too - the bracelets, hot chocolate, corn to make popcorn and the delicious homemade cookies & bread. The price also makes it great value for money - you’d pay so much more for this quality in Europe! Thank you so much 🤍
