We made the trail that goes to aasvoel cave. Total is around 9 km and took around 3 hours. We made the hike with our 7 year old, so it will be faster for other people. When we reached to caves we went to upper cave as lower cave path seemed difficult for our 7 year old. For apple rings this is recorded as moderate level 6 as effort.

Its a great place to unwind connect with breathtakingly beautiful scenery of nature and you get to experience nature in different ways.... The camp site is beautiful the place has taps braii stands on each site, and ablution facility with a shower. We saw rivers, dams, caves and waterfalls. The trails are easy to do if you're a beginner

Totally awesome place to get away from city life. Very peaceful and stunning views, and several hiking trails. Beautiful waterfalls. Clean fresh air and clean rivers. Awesome place to unwind. There is no electricity, so have a good supply of solar power. However, there are hot showers. It gets dark quickly in the evening, but the moon is bright and the sky is full of stars. A very beautiful and enjoyable place to camp

Beautiful mountains of the Drakensburg! First visit here! Got to Highmoor@ midday ,and a storm was brewing! So had to leave. A definite must see when the weather is sunny and nice,there are hiking trails,🚶♂️, a dam! so a lovely place I would say to explore,you just have to be there bit early! Perhaps stay in accomodation nearby and make a weekend of it! ⭐

We took at day trip out to Highmoor. What a beautiful area! The staff were friendly and helpful, the campsite looks great and sits at 2000m above sea-level. Nice hiking trails and very scenic. Not much in terms of facilities but that's how I like it.
