在伊丽莎白港（Gqeberha）市中心，7号城堡山是一座建于1825-1830年间的砖石结构早期移民住宅，原为当地首位英国圣公会牧师弗朗西斯·麦克莱兰的住所。这座两层建筑在1960年代被列为国家纪念建筑，1965年起作为博物馆对外开放，完整保留了东开普地区早期维多利亚时代建筑特色。
原汁原味的19世纪生活场景
博物馆内可见修复完好的石板屋顶、打磨光亮的黄木地板和横梁，以及地下室厨房中带有深烤炉的原始灶台。特别引人注目的是一组维多利亚时期的家居用品：包括古董娃娃屋、精美蕾丝制品收藏，以及至今仍可使用的庭院水井。

A lot of effort was made to preserve the house and contents. Definitely worth a visit. Just sorry about the recent problems with break-ins, which damaged the roof, and thus water problems.
