We had an absolutely amazing time at this safari lodge. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. Our guide, France, was exceptional-knowledgeable, professional, and Passionate about wild life/animals and his job. The safari experience was 5 out of 5. Keep in mind it’s real wildlife, and the guides work hard to give you the best possible sightings. The villas were stunning - easily the most beautiful and comfortable place we've stayed at in South Africa. The servicewas also top-notch. I had read that some guests were unsure about the explanations regarding drinks and charges, but it’s just part of the process to make sure everyone understands what's included — and it’s handled very well. The waitstaff and floor managers were incredibly attentive and took great care of us. Everything is very well organized ! By the way thank you for poncho - in a cold/windy weather - it made a difference ! We initially booked for one night, but extended to two - and we’re so glad we did! I highly recommend staying at least two nights to truly enjoy the game drives, unwind, and take in the villa experience. The spa massage was professional and relaxing - definitely something to add to your stay. Overall, this was a perfect mix of adventure and luxury. Highly recommended, and we’d love to return!

A once in life time experience. It was absolutely exquisite. Our every need was seen to by the incredible staff in our villa. Even though we had 6 staff members, they were so well trained that you barely knew they were even there and things felt like they were just miraculous done. Our guide was so knowledgeable and really funny. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

We had the best experience at Gondwana! We were blessed with our guide Trinah (i hope that’s how you spell it). She made it possible for us to see all the animals and take pictures while still respecting their space. We would always ride with her again if we come back to Gondwana. Thank you again🥰❤️ Also the whole accommodation is very pretty and the food is also delicious. Hloma is the sweetest waitress:)))))

An exceptional space, that is malaria free and our guide Ruan way exceeded the rest of our experience with his knowledge, passion and general customer service. So location and guide Ruan get 5/5. The lodge we booked was their best lodge and our package was the full package so paid and expected premium. Lodge was fantastic and tastefully done as well as comfortable. Now the sad part was the catering and greeting and I have been to many high end lodges over the years. Sadly we had staff that were not capable here and the food really was mediocre at best. Having done the full house premium I found the staff were drilled and more worried about charging us for water than actually customer service. I welcome feedback from Gondwana on this as this side of your business gets a 1/5. Bitter sweet.

It was a great experience. We stayed at one of the most amazing houses I have ever seen. The service is excellent. Chianique, who was our waitress, made a wonderful job. And we had the most amazing safaris with Felix, who is not just an awesome guide with a lot of knowledge and expertise, but he is also a wonderful person. Thank you!
