位于布隆方丹市中心的国王公园玫瑰园，是这座“玫瑰之城”最具代表性的绿色空间之一。这座占地50多公顷的公园始建于20世纪初，最初名为“王子玫瑰园”（1906年），后为纪念乔治五世国王更名。园内4000余株玫瑰涵盖数十个品种，从经典的大花月季到复古的茶香玫瑰，部分植株树龄已近百年，见证了南非园艺史的变迁。
近年来，当地政府与公益组织“希望之锚”合作投入50万兰特，修复灌溉系统、增设照明与休憩设施，并补种了100多个新花坛。如今，这里不仅是市民日常散步的热门选择，还成为家庭烧烤、生日聚会和小型文化活动的露天场所。

It's a dumpsite...municipality cleans once every few weeks. Broken bottles, condoms, rubbish all over. What used to be a nice place is totally ruined....just stay away.

I wonder what the mayor says whenever he passes this place. Do they even understand the meaning of "MAINTAINING " , I doubt. Back in the days this used to be a world class park.
