I love this library. The ambience and space is top notch. The reading carrel downstairs is a wonder to behold. The front desk ladies are very polite. Nice space for cultural engagement and networking. If you find yourself in Kigali, don't snooze on it.

This is such a beautiful place both inside and out. I paid 10K for a 1 year membership. This is a steal. You can borrow three books for three weeks if you are a member. Wow what a great deal! Definitely loved the selection of books too. My only request is that they provide better lighting as there are some places that are a bit darker but other than that, I am impressed.

Modern building with a small amount of books. The children section is nice. They have a seating area there, where children can rest and read.

I had a great time visiting the Kigali Public Library. I have missed going to the library and yes, it was an opportunity to get that calm, seeing others studying and just diving into reading too. The Library is need and we'll managed. I like the ambience and the books are great. I like the location too. It is just opposite of American Embassy. It isn't far away from the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre. Got a major hospital close by too. If you are looking for a place to just soak in and get a chance to read up, go to the Kigali Public Library. No noise, no distractions.
