位于刚果共和国南部的莱菲尼野生动物保护区，成立于1951年，覆盖6300平方公里。保护区坐落于特凯高原，地貌丰富，涵盖草原、石灰岩悬崖、裸露岩石和沿水流分布的森林。这里的生态环境包括池塘、湖泊及沼泽森林，孕育了多样的动植物物种。作为鸟类国际组织（BirdLife International）认定的重要鸟类栖息地，保护区内栖息着大量鸟类和野生动物，如非洲水牛、林羚、小羚羊以及德布拉扎猴等灵长类动物。保护区内的道路两旁分布着小村庄，人与自然的和谐共生在此得到了充分体现。
