Awesome park, it was a thrill to see the many animals —some, my first— the zoo keeps. I'm not a medic or vet though, but I think the baboons need some medical attention. Also, that elephant needs the company of other elephants, please! Even if just one other.🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 Thumbs up though, you should definitely visit. PS: Under the shade of the trees, don't look up! 🦇

We've slow down some of our activities and went there and enjoy ourselves. The place was so nice.

A beautiful place with a serene environment located in one of the most popular areas in the heart of Maiduguri the Borno state capital. There are a lot of planted trees there which cool the area in hot weather conditions. It's a place to take your family for a picnic and spend some time together. There are various species of wild and domestic animals which include: Ostrich; red monkeys; Baboo; tortoises; Lions; Elephant; Crocodiles; Hyenas; Pythons; Muturu cattle; Hedhogs; Cape Eland; Geese; Sheep; Goats; Horse's; and Camel among others. There is also a mini Children’s amusement park for playing kids. There are also canteens for food and drinks. In conclusion, I recommend this place for any visitors to Maiduguri to visit before leaving.😃😊🐎🐐🐘

Good place to visit, especially with children. Nice environment, nice staff and interesting animals, particularly the Monkeys, Elephant and Ostriches. Lion, the King of the Jungle is also very visible.
