Parc National du Manovo-Gounda-Saint Floris is a national nature reserve in the Central African Republic. This park is located in the north of the country and covers a large area of about 17,400 square kilometers. Established in 1933, Manovo Gonda Sant Flores National Park was registered as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1988. The park has a diverse mix of natural environments including savannahs, forests, canyons and lakes, making it home to enormous biodiversity. Manovo Gonda St. Flores Park is home to a large number of wildlife, including African elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, leopards, gazelles, giraffes and more. The park is also home to a variety of rare birds and reptiles. However, the protected areas face significant environmental challenges including poaching, desertification and loss of natural habitats, which threaten the region's wildlife.
