  My favourite island. Quite, good for walks, this is the island of beautiful mountains, people are nice and vefy helpful.

  We only had one week in Cabo Verde so we focused on San Vicente and Sao Antao, with a couple of hours in Praia awaiting a flight. We only spent two days in Sao Antao but it was definitely the highlight. Time only offered us two car tours around parts of the island but the vistas were spectacular. More time would beckon a full day hike from the upper peaks down to the ocean. If two or more days are available, consider driving in opposite directions each day, as the lighting offers very different perspectives to the landscape.
